Competition looking for nw jason burton

Competition DieselFreak 2 goes 307.11 at the buck!

Going out to the Knolls Recreation area at exit 44 on I-80.

Leaving thursday sometime and be out there by the afternoon to early evening and staying till sunday afternoon.

This place is great for motorcycles and ATV's and some 4X4 trail drives. There are hill climbs and sand dunes, and small flat "Dry-Lakes" to open it up for a short bit.

I have a 28'Desert Fox with a 2003 Polaris 500 so I will be roughing it easy!:D

To get to it, go I-80 west to exit 44, turn left over freeway (south) follow old frontage road around heading west for 1 mile or so til you come to a sign saying "knolls recreation area" tuen left. . I will be about 2 miles in on the gravel road. There is dunes on the right and we usually park on a low point on the left. There is a big open park area that is flat a little further on the right.

Here is my truck and trailer..... pic is out in Moab near slickrock

Hope you had a blast! I've been so busy for the last few months that I haven't had my toys out... BOO HOO!!

Hoping for a slow summer at work

That Moab area is quite the playground. Quite a range of activities - mtn. biking, hiking, climbing, canyoneering, ATVing, motocross, Jeeping, or just plain looking. :) Oo.

First time I went to Moab was in 77, finally went back in 87 and have gone back at least once a year every year since. I can't get enough of that red rock.

Heres my new (to me) toy. I just got this and it is a Polaris Predator 500..... '03 model. It has about $2000 worth of acc's

I've got a sportsman 500 HO too, your other toy would be a little much for my wooded acerage, looks like a lot of fun though.

Heres my 73 yr old Dad trying it out. He still gets out and has fun. He rides the Big quad sometimes. My Camera has a fast shutter. He is movin a bit in this pic. Absolutely stopped the wheels.

The trails you see in the background are at a place called 5-Mile pass rec. Area.
