"Good wrench"... OH, really?

Filters waxing??

Just wanted to find out the weight difference in a cummins common rail and a 5. 9 hemi motor not the truck but the motor itself thanks

My truck weighs in at 7500#, with my toolbox and accessories I probably drive around town at over 8k. Don't knwo what my truck with a hemi weighs but I would guess arround 1500 less.

It seems that I heard that the CTD weigh in at about 1200 lbs. I suspect the diff would be less than 1/2 that. Lot's of other stuff on the truck are also upgraded with the CTD, making the package quite a bit more.

I went to the local dump the other day and the lady told me that the only Dodge dummy weight she had was 5500#'s. When I weighed on the way out my truck came in at about 7100#'s.

My 99's manual stated 1064#s for the CTD... So I would guess around 1000#s for any 5. 9L CTD.

I have no idea howmuch a 5. 7L hemi would weigh... a complete 360 (older 5. 9L gasser) only weighs around 500 pounds.

My unladen registered weight is 7k (for the truck in my sig).
