Can any one tell me if there is a weight difference between bio or dino diesel per gallon cause i am sled pulling with a 3500 everyday driver weighs a bit this last season i had different weight-in's any one with the knowledge and input would be helpful tia cahammer
The scales used at a truck pull are not very accurate (always moved, not on a level surface, never checked, and not to mention all the mud. But as far as fuel goes, dino is slightly over 7lbs a gallon and most scales are only accurate to 20lb increments, so even if there was a difference in fuel weight it would take alot to move the scales. Not sure if that answered much!
well i was just wondering cause at the last pull i filled up with bio and was 300+lbs above my avrage therefore i had to drop 3 tractor weights off the front to meet weight requirements and didnt pull worth a darn
