Does anyone have a recommendation where I can get a good weight distributing hitch for my 06 3500 2wd QC swb (single rear wheel)? Thanks again for your help.

Chazj, I just ordered a 2006 AF-27F. I also have an "equalizer" hitch W/ 1000 lbs. bars from the previous trailer. What rating are your spring bars and did you change you stock receiver?? Thanks

Joe: I have the 1200lb bars with my Equal-i-zer Hitch. Truck sits nice and level.

I also upgraded my receiver to a Class V Titan Hitch as the Class IV factory hitch was overloaded (from a technical standpoint) with the weight of of my AF 27F. I have also heard many good reviews concerning the Putnam Class V Hitch.

Hope this helps.

I use the Equal-I-Zer as well towing a DF 28KS, I use the 1400# bars, got mine at RV Wholesaler for $435- including free shipping, and it's a heavy *******... www.rvwholesalers.com

Ditto except I got the 1200# version and I believe I paid less than $300. I really like this hitch. Although I have no experience w/ any other brand.

Chazj, Thanks for the info. I am already in the works for the XDR and I called my old dealer where I bought the HI-LO trailer and they sell the Equal-I-zer for $600. 00. I just called RV wholesalers.com and I can get a new 1200 system with the shank, no tax or shipping fees sent to my door for $399. 00. I think this will have to do until I can afford a Hensley. Thanks again.
