2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Weight of 2001 Wheel

Does anyone know the weight of a 2001 Alloy Wheel from a Dodge? I want to get a price on shipping them. Thanks Pete

Not sure about the alloys, but I weighed my stock 17" chromed steel wheels w/ a P285/70R-17 tire and it was about 80 lbs. Figuring about 50 lbs for the tire and 30 lbs for the wheel alone is fairly safe. Factory alloy wheels tend to have minimal weight savings over steel wheels.

If you're shipping, make sure you don't get hammered for oversize charges... man... I hate shipping wheels... we've sold a few sets and partial sets... much smaller car wheels... what a pain... I'll deliver within a fair distance to avoid shipping.
