weight of 2500 4x4

just curious, been playing with the g-tech, and want to put a weight in so i can get horsepower readings. What does a 2500 long bed quad cab 4x4 weigh. I really have nothing in it adding weight over the way it rolled off of the lot with the exception of the baby seat and 5th wheel hitch

I have more than you on, look at sig, and mine weighs about 7640 with full tank and me in it.



I have heard others say about 6000 - 7000 or so.

Rubberneck, mine tips the scales at 8045 full of fuel. However I have a heavy front bumper, and a

flatbed on mine. So this may not help you any.

Both are with me in the drivers seat.

The last time I went drag racing at Sacto, I weighed Godzilla on their scale. with ~1/4 tank of fuel, and maybe 100 #'s of tools in the toolbox, he weighed 7270.

Mine (OURS) weighs 7360 lbs. with me in the seat, about 1/2 a tank of fuel, maybe 200 lbs. of tools in the box,and a weeks worth of work cloths. Also running 265-75x16, 10 ply Michelines.

My '00 is a 2500 4x4 LB and 6spd, otherwise stock appearance with addition of a set of nerf bars and it weighs 7320 lbs with me and a full tank of fuel.



My old '99 was identical in every way except it had a 5spd and it weighed 7210 lbs.

cool thanks guys, i was guessing 7200 with me in it, probably close enough for what im doing. i do have a spray in bedliner and a few other things i forgot. Started doing an inventory this afternoon. Wow you sure acquire crap fast. anyway, will plug the weight in to the gtech and see what hp she throws at me. I was goofing around last night and ran 15. 78 at 95. 8 mph. bogged off the line and released the go pedal for each shift. (too much of a wuss to power shift) Now all i need is a b1 turbo so i can use all the pm3 has. That run was on level 5, i cant wait baby.
