Weight of 2WD, single cab 2005?

I've looked everywhere I can think of looking-the downloaded version of my owners manual, other sites, etc. , and cannot find out how much my truck weighs.

I deliberately bought a single cab because it's lighter (and I don't have many passengers) and I'm gonna 'hot rod' it anyway. I wanna figure out my hp/wt. ratio with engine upgrades etc.

So anybody know where I can look up specs, weight wise for my single cab 2WD 2005?

A completely unrelated question, I wanna get a rebuilt Goerand transmission with billet shafts, etc. and I don't want to send mine in and wait, but if I get a rebuilt one and send the one I have, I'm sending in a good transmission that has less than 24 K miles on it for $1000 core. I'd like to sell it to somebody for what it's worth, and get a core (and some $) in exchange, then send in the core. Anybody got any advice? I listed it here and at the DTR, guess I could list it in ebay, anybody got other ideas? It's going to be 1-1/2 months before I can get the work done, and the prospective buyer could drive the truck now to ensure he was getting a good transmission.

Here are the numbers for the 2004 models. The 2005 should be very close. You are looking for the base curb weight for your model.

You might send a PM to Evan A Beck, he owned a '03 2wd regular cab and I think he weighed it once.

My unladen c/cgw weight on my 04. 5 Reg Cab California registration is rated at 06183. This should be close. Hope this helps.

Don't forget about the scales at your local truck stop. If you are really curious you can find out for about $10.
