Has anyone weighed their 3500 4x2 LWB. Interested in difference between GVW and what truck actually weighs. Just bought new 5th wheel and while I haven't weighed truck with new camper; think I am getting over my GVW.
My 3500 4x4 Quad cab weighs in just under 7k. . I would think your 4x2 should be about 500 pounds less. Im going to check mine at a truck scale after I run the first tank empty to see how close Chrysler was on their sheet.
PBJohnson2, Did you weigh your truck? I'd be suprised if your under 7K. My 03 3500 QC 4X4 DRW 6 speed truck weighs right at 8500 full of fuel with the hitch and me, the Mrs. , and my old Bassett in the cab as set up for towing. I. E. Some stuff in the back. Ken Irwin
My dually QC 4x4, 8338 lbs - certified scale; me, full tank of diesel, truck accessories (bed mat, camper tie downs, running boards, mud flaps), misc crap (1st aid kit, cell phone, rope, etc. )
My truck weights in at 7950 and a cat scale. That inckudes a full load of fuel (85 gal) and a fifth wheel hitch. This is the truck weight only, no one in it.
