2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Weight of a 1996 3500

I've got a 1996 3500 4x4, REDNECK edition. I'm hoping to sled pull this weekend. How much of my truck am I going to have to leave at home to make 7000lbs without me in it. 7200 with me. I'm about 195lbs.

I have a stock 97 club cab 2 door dually 3500 with a ranch hand bumper in front and tool box in rear of bed. Had it weighed to get it registered last year and it was 7200 lbs if I remember right. The bumper might weigh 200 lbs and tool box maybe 50 lbs. Hope that helps.

Thanks Dave... . Just weighed it tonite... 7480 with me in it, about 200lbs shingles and palet, and just over 1/4 tank of fuel. I should be able to make 7000 for this saturdays pull.....

Without me in it, no extras on the truck at the time, except for a plastic bug sheild and had a full tank of fuel, my truck weighed 7K flat.

Good Luck on the sled pull this weekend. Keep fuel tank and belly light and you should make it.
