Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Weight of truckbed?

Hi. I live in Norway (excuse my bad english) where I drive a 1997 Ram 2500 clubcab longbed diesel. It might be an advantage for me to have the car registered to a total of 7778 lbs (3500kgs) This is due to tax and road toll. Does anybody know the weight of my truck without the truck bed, or the weight of the truck bed?

Which weight are you interested in? The curb weight for your truck should be around 6300 lbs (6260 lbs for my '95). The GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating) is 8800 lbs on my '95 4X4. I don't know the weight of the truck bed. It's not too bad because I can lift it easy with rope and four pullies with a comealong hand winch. I would guess 200 lbs.

My dad and I can carry my dually bed. Yours would a bit lighter.
