just got back from the local CAT scale and thought I'd share a weight reference for y'all.

almost full of fuel, no driver or passenger, diamond plate tool box on the rails with "normal" stuff inside. check sig. for truck spec's.

3780 #'s steer axle GAWR Front 4410 #'s

2620 #'s drive axle GAWR Rear 6084 #'s

0000 #'s trailer axle ('cause it was at home)

6400 #'s gross weight GVWR 8800 #'s

I'm going to re-weigh next week with the TT attached. stay tuned for the update. :)

Mine got weighed yesterday. It's a 6 spd 4x4 though, so with the same description as your truck (fuel and tool box) I'm at 7500. Alot more driveline weight. Oh yeah, take 130 lbs. off of that since I was sitting in it. :D

the follow up

weighed the combined rig yesterday on the way home from a weekend up north:

3880 #'s steer axle GAWR Front 4410 #'s

3680 #'s drive axle GAWR Rear 6084 #'s

5720 #'s trailer axles

13280 #'s gross combined weight GCWR 16000 #'s

this weight included 1 passenger and 3 small dogs, plus our "normal" trailering stuff in the bed.
