When I bought my 93, it made a tinging noise from the left rear whenever I took off from a stop. The guy I bought it from thought I was going to have to tear it apart. So the other day, I took the wheel off and a piecve of metal fell out. It was the metal weight that it supposed to be welded to the drum. I took the other wheel off and this weight was loose in there. So my question is whether it hurts anything not having those weights on there. I can't say I feel any vibration, then again this thing rides rough. Thanks

drum weights

Yes you need to put them back on !!!!!!!!!! If you leave them off it will make the truck shake like a tire is way out of balance...
