Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) weird noise, and high idle

I just had my stock lift pump go out and take out my vp44, i put a fass system and a hrvp44 back into, i also put the stealth pump cover on, now my truck has a air compressor noise when i down shift, and its hard starting after sitting overnight. If anyone has any ideas please comment.

You may have an air leak somewhere. All those lines and hoses that were off could be leaking air on the suction side of the system. Hope this helps.
