Twice today as i'm rolling along about 18 - 20 mph, and slowly accelerate I hear a noise coming from behind the cab / under the bed.

Sounds like a Canadian Goose honk but without the H sound.

Could it be the Carrier bearing ( center of driveshaft )?

I'm almost at 200000 miles.

Sorry, Ive had 2 carrier bearings go out in other rigs but nothing sounded like that. Maybe its the bouancy conductor or the edonkulator bearing:eek:. Is there anyone that could ride in the bed or drive along side of you while you try to narrow down the location of the noise? Good luck!

I've actually used that exact description (I said it sounded like someone choking a duck-close enough) regarding a malfunctioning PacBrake on the truck I drive at work. Your sig doesn't show you have an exhaust brake, but could something else be blocking exhaust/airflow somewhere? I know tihs doesn't really help, but the description caught my eye. Also, there is a piece of plastic on my camper the blows in the breeze and when it vibrates just right sounds just like this also. Could there be something caught somewhere that is making noise when the wind blows it around at those speeds?
