Weird Trip Computer Message

Was wondering if anybody has seen the following on their trip computer. It displayed "Ccd" in all modes except odometer continuously and displayed the "Ccd' thing occasionally in odometer. Trip computer would return to normal functions after a shut down at the next start. While in this "Ccd" mode, the functions of the trip computer would not update. Happened on a trip to western Nebraska and back. Was very hot both days if that worth anything. Any help would be apreciated.

computer message

CCD is what Chrysler named the data bus that transfers information between the networked devices in the truck. This error probably indicates the data bus was operating out of defined limits or perhaps not at all due to broken or shorted connection or failing parts. It is going to have to be a dealer diagnosis.
