Hey guys, as many of you are aware Frank Simkowski passed away about a month ago. Powerwagon has been filling in here as the full time moderator since that time. With the server issues we've been dealing with we haven't had time to rearrange the moderators. I finally got around to it late last week and early this week. Todd T is going to be the new moderator for the 12v forum. Todd previously owned a 24v truck and is now tackling a 12v project so he was a great fit for the job! Thanks for volunteering Todd!

While I can nowhere near fill the shadows of some of the great membership we have on here. I will do my best to hold up my end of the bargain. I know most of you are self-moderated and there is no need for me or anyone else on here ;)



Steve was correct, I have owned two 12valve and one 24valve trucks. I have seen the light and have followed it back to here. however, I do not consider myself to know everything. That is why I’m here, to learn, share and have a good time :D

BTW, would Amsoil or Petro oil work better in a DTT transmission or an ATS transmission. And does K&N make a an auto transmission filter? If so, how is it's filtering capabilities??

Now, how do I work a clutch thread into this?

BTW, I'm interesting in your project. Yu do plan on taking lots of pictures, Right? I'm thinking about something similar when the time comes(eg, when the truck is paid off)

Todd, good luck with the undervalved crowd, but they usually don't eat their own :D .
 
Naw, we're too busy eating everything that comes near us... . (here comes a CTD text-flowchart... )Everything in our world gets sucked into the previously aforementioned K&N... . into the HX-40 turbo, into our beloved 12-valve 6BT, through our transmission of choice (insert your favorite or least favorite vendor here... . ), and eventually to the ground with some highly controversial tires/rims... .



It's all good.

Hey Steve,,I thought you'd let me and Sled Puller co-moderate this and we even both voulenteered,,Sheesh,now I'm disappointed you know how fair we would have been to the masses,,So I guess we will have to welcome Todd to this group and hope we can keep him on his toes,,Medication,he he he he he he he Hope you can buy it in bulk,,Guess its time to go find something to see if the newbie(ex-improperly valved shoe,former rollin' blackout pilot)is ready to play the game... ...
