I had submitted pictures of my truck for the calendar, and few weeks ago got what I thought was a rejection letter. The latest TDR magazine has been on my counter, I hadn't opened it and didn't realize the calendar was in it. Opened it today, there my truck was, she is Ms. March! Oo.

Thank you for your participation in the TDR 2010 Calendar Contest. Each year the competition gets keener and the entries this year were excellent.

We have just sent the TDR 2010 Calendar to the printer for publication. For the record, we reviewed close to 300 photographs. When you receive the calendar (to be mailed out in early November with Issue 66 of the TDR), you will notice that we selected some photographs for their artistic value while others were selected because they simply represented a specific month well.....
and it went on to say something about they appreciated the time effort spent photographing my truck, etc.

Evil I say, evil. LOL Granted it doesn't say I wasn't selected, but doesn't say I was either!

They're trying to keep you on your toes!!:-laf

It was a good calendar this year. Lots of competition this year. One of these days i'll get my truck cleaned up and get a good picture for it.

Congrats on making it.

I didn't even clean mine up and got it on September's page!

:-laf

I think thats considered an action shot. I'd have to clean mine up since its just transportation for me when i'm not driving my big Cummins ('06 International with an ISX). It explains the 26,000 miles in in almost 6 years. Mine looks really good clean and all shined up. Get a good backdrop and its calendar material for sure:D

P. S. congrats to both of you for making it

Oddly enough, mine isn't all that clean, but you can't tell it. I had just driven over Cottonwood Pass (Colorado) two night before in a rainstorm and the downhill part is dirt, which was then mud. But, I lightly hosed it off at the campgrounds because they told me that "mud" had mag chloride in it.
