Mag Hytec DD trans pan/fluid change/bands.

Pistons?

Is there REALLY any worth to getting a wramed over pump? Even if it is better it'l prolly die just like the others no? Hmmm what to do. Just weighing the difference in $$'s Vs getting my rig back out on the road and getting it back on the road with a bigger $mile ... I mean SMILE.

Just what can be done to the frail VP anyways? From what I see the new factory spec pumps are new factory Spec # 027 units anyways. What is THAT difference anyways between mine and now?

Sorry for the Q's but this is my first Inj pump.

TTT---pm heberram and talk to DD---right now I don't think all the bugs are worked out of warmed over VP's, so I wouldn't do it---there are a few 600+ trucks out there that are running the stock unit--chris

I just talked to peirs yesterday and they said between 30 and 40 extra horsepower. Unfortunately, I am on the same bandwagon as you. And debating the same decision. I wonder if "Group Purchases" apply to 2 people. :(

Man Tim,sorry to hear you need a Vp already. My dad's 01 died once about a month ago,and i pulled most of the same codes that you did. I cleaned/checked all the trans connectors, and it has never done it again. Now you got me worried about it.
