Hi all, bet your sick of me coming here, bet you're not as sick of it as I am. Had a bad vibration in Indiana, had the rear universal joint replaced. Started vibrating again so I landed in Denver and they said the rear yoke was bad, had rear yoke replaced. By the time I got to Cheyenne, WY the vibration was back. By the time I got to Billings, MT Flying J I chickened out and landed. Anybody gotta floor jack and stands? I'll drop the trailer and pick up the parts. Guess I'll try replacing the rest of the universals and see if it cures my vibrations. Dam I'd like to get one round trip without something breaking. Check your carrier bearing on the rear driveshaft. If that's out it will take out the universals quicker.

Hi Steve, thanks, but it was even more serious than that. G&J Diesel in Billings replaced the rear universal joint bearings again. They drained and pulled the rear dif cover, seems the dana 80 has seen better days. They wanted $1,600 to rebuild and throw in a new R&P. I'd a done it but couldn't afford the time, had another trailer to pickup in Pendleton, OR after I dropped the one I had. If I don't pick up pretty timely they will dispatch someone else with it. So, just replaced the rear universal joint and hope I make it to Santa Fe Springs, CA with this load. Rialto will probably load me going up the west coast then back to Pendleton and hope I can get something going east back towards Bristol, IN. If/when I get there I'll do the R&P. If you pray throw a couple in for me, lotta hills tween where I'm at and a where I'ma goin.

OTRPU, who do you haul for, I hauled for Bennet for a while, don't haul any more, just wondering, hope you differential holds long enough. I had one go out in Nevada once, found another one at Pocatello, ID. to put in.
