My transmission decided to let go again. This time only the overdrive went out so it's not as bad as last time. I took it to the transmission shop that i have the warranty with (no names on here) but they won't be able to look at it till tuesday so i'll get the verdict then. This is the second time i've had transmission problems in 9 months with this company so after my 2 year warranty is up if i have to get it rebuilt i'm definitely going with DTT. Man i wish i would've done that in the 1st place. Well it's good to be back, i've been gone for about 6 weeks now (but then this happens)

If you're using one of the large chain shops that is likely part of the problem. They're normally more concerned with building a lot of transmissions as fast as they can, instead of taking the time to build one right. Having the job done by a locally-owned independent shop will normally result in a much higher quality rebuild, and they will normally take the time to perform any necessary upgrades to make it last. You also get a much better transmission for the same amount of money - sometimes even less - than the chain shops.
