I bought one of those new, almost zero mile(3), '05 CR motors and my buddy JB has been(off and on) farting around with it. He ported it, installed a Don M Cam and Springs, we had Big ED make us a Fuel Canister Lid, and we have been working towards installing this into a... .



2001 4x4 Dodge 3/4 ton with 50k miles.



Well we finally got around to making the time to "GET R DONE"... .

let me know how this goes, I am thinking about trying the same with my 2000 some day. Before ya know it, all that will be left of my 2000 will be the frame and body... the rest of it is slowly getting 3rd gen parts!

Cheating a little.....

I am using the 05 TPS, Wiring harness, alternator, transmission(suncoast), and of course all other 05 electronics.



Transfer case, AC, Twins, fuse block, radiator, shroud, intercooler, and most other under hood stuff is 01.



Seems like everytime we think we have it, a new glitch to work through, but HEY Rome wasn't built in one day either I suppose.



I promised this truck to my son for his 1st truck..... teehee
