Fuel guage problem

I went to the drags tonight, first time with the diesel. It's all stock from air filter to exhaust tip.



Best run



60 ft 2. 787 (80 psi in the tires)



1/8 12. 091 @ 59. 922



1/4 18. 512 @ 77. 255



Not too horrible for a 5 speed dually.



My other vehicle is a 93 GMC Typhoon (turbocharged v6 with all wheel drive), it runs high 13s at 95.
 
That's great, now you have a baseline.



Time to BOMB away. :)



What gear did you start in?



Wheel spin?



What RPM did you launch at?
 
2nd gear start, slipped the clutch a bit at 1700 rpm. The first 2 runs I tried just dumping the clutch, the wheels slipped and the engine bogged down.
 
OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOO this is how it starts.

Next will be a hot box, K&N, 4" exh. , dual disk clutch,ect... ... ... ... ... ... . :D

You have been bitten, I think within 20 days or so you'll probably have some hi-po parts bolted on. Don't bother looking for a cure, as a wise old racer told me"open thy wallet and thou shalt peel"

Reaction time? 1. 158 on a . 500 light. (YUK)



I won't get carried away BOMBing, that's what my Typhoon is for. It is a lot of fun to race, all wheel drive and it pulls 1. 8 60 foots on regular tires. I just want an engine brake and an EZ box for the diesel. (I swear that's all)
 
oh come on, 275 rv injectors are said to be worth an average 1. 5 mpg, and well add another 30 to 50hp:), and cost around 300 bucks, and I'm sure you can handle istalling them. :):):)
