I just finished replacing my evaporator/condenser and accumulator. I've removed the compressor and flushed all the lines. Now that I'm ready to add the pag oil, were should I add it to? The book says to use the suction port on the top of the compressor. I'm worried that the oil will run out as I'm hooking it up. Can I add it down the line after its hooked up? Also should I spread out the oil and add some to the other components? My truck is a 94 CTD. I've also flushed the compressor thru the suction port and blew air in to dry it.

Any suggestions?

Good idea to shoot it with the pressurized oil can or evenly distribute it, yes it dribbles out of the evap.

Hopefully the orifice tube was pulled and ck'd or replaced.

Be careful not to add too much it will hurt a/c perf. 6 oz. should do fine.

You might find that shorting the charge a couple of oz. will improve the center vent temp.

Good luck

Andy
