Central Florida Meet

Warning Rip Off

We are going to have a truck pull in Michigan City, MS on Oct. 4th. It's just inside the MS border. About 1 hour south of Jackson, TN on Highway 72. They are going to have a Street Diesel Class. Pull will start about 7:30 or 8pm. If any one is interested in coming, you can email me or post questions here. Nick

west Tn. Pull

Nickhayes,

I will talk to my buddies that pulled the other night. If they want to pull I'll let them use my truck. My truck was the white 02 Auto that came in 2nd place at Ivy Bluff on Saturday. You were nice enough to come to middle Tennessee to pull maybe we can make a strong class in Mississippi. I really enjoyed watching your truck pull.

Best Regards,

if I had a pulling truck

I'd be right there.

I'll have to see what I can get worked out by next season. Maybe pop a transmission and injectors into Dad's '95 and use that until I can build something a little hotter. ;)

Have a good Hook!:D

Meachum, Your truck was very stout! I was impressed. I enjoyed going to Middle, TN and pulling with ya'll. We'd love to have you come down here and pull. like i said there's a couple of hot duramax's, and psd's that will be at this pull and we'd love to have you down. I'm going to leave my house at 5pm if you'd like to meet up there. it's about 1 hour drive from my house. should be over by 10 or 10:30. just let me know and i'll get you directions and my phone number. Nick

Tennessee Pull

Nick,

I'm not going to be able to make the pull this weekend but Joe Moran and Terry Johnson are bringing my truck. Joe is the tall guy thay drove in the pull against you. They are really excited! Especially since the Ford and Duramaxes are going to be there. Please PM me to let me know all the details (cost to pull, where you are meeting, and numbers to get in touch with you). I hope you all have a great pull.

Best Regards,

Meacham Evins

I'm a coming to MS.

Nick, PM me some directions, I'll try to figure out if I'm coming to your place first or straight to the pull.

Anybody want to tag along?

Wade,

I would love to be going. The truck is ready for Joe to take to Mississippi. We did some practicing and we made some adjustments. Joe is hopefully going to make a good showing for Middle Tennessee. Nick's truck is just a bit strong for us. I hope you guys have a great time.

Hey guys, just got back from kentucky. one thing about pulling these sleds is that any truck no matter how stout can fly apart at any given hook. min'es done it and i have watched countless others do it. all part of "paying" to play. it's all in good fun though. should be about 20 trucks in our class. if you have any questions on how to get to my house or the pull give me a call on my cell #. thanks nick

Clarification and Report

The above post by Nick led me to think that his truck had broken at KY on Fri. Turns out that it didn't.

But in his 300. ? winning pull last night, he lost the front end. So now it is broke, but like he said--that's a pullin' deal.

Joe in Meacham's truck (we gotta name that thing) pulled a 292 for 3rd place.

I'm not sure who got second.

There was a Chevy with 6" stacks on a flatbed and a CTD under the hood. There were Dmaxes with propane. There were Fords melting clutches down. There was a 6. 0 who broke--reportedly the front of the rearend housing, I saw the drive shaft a floppin' on the ground.

Congratulations to the winners and thanks to Burton Sugar Farms and Joey for putting it on.
