BOMB direction advice

Anyone else had problems with the westac combo gauge boost not reading right after working fine for a few years? My guage is saying I am only getting 10lbs at max throttle, where I have always reached thirty easily. The truck still runs great, and all other indicators are where they always are too. Can these gauges be repaired, or What? Thanks in advance.
I did find an old post and brought it back in the engine forum to try and get an answer to it too.

you can always send the gauge back to be calibrated and tested. '

most of the time it cost around 30 bucks

Hell it seem on most products in life we live a throw a way enviroment :(

I was reading low boost so I checked the system and found the hose to the gauge was leaking boost. Replaced the hose with one from napa.

TurboDog;

Try what has been suggested. if this does not check out, send it to westach. They rebuilt mine, re-calibrated it and i had it back one week, from when i sent it to them. Great people to do business with.

just my penny's worth.

I have had problems with one.

It would only show about 25-28 lbs boost.

I took it out and connected it to a known good pressure source.

It would read 25 with 5 lbs appied and even with 30 it stayed at 25.

Replaced it and need to return it.

I'm sure it is out of warrantee but it never hurts to try.

Well, it was the hose after all. No leak, but where I ran it through the rubber plug in the firewall, I had only poked a hole in the rubber. The rubber plug actually over time weakened and colapsed the hose. Or so it appeared.
Anyway, new hose and boost gauge is working great again! Oh, I did cut a X in the plug this time.
