Westach dual gauge, thermocouple size?

Sorry for the newbie question.

I'm finally getting around to add a Westach EGT/Boost gauge in an SRT10 'A' pillar. I need to order the gauge but don't know which size thermocouple to get. Is there a performance difference between sizes or a clearance difference?

The plan is preturbo. My truck is a 04. 5 600.

You can order either a 1/8, or 1/4 inch probe - the smaller diameter is less restrictive, and likely to respond faster to exhaust temperature changes...

yep go with the 1/8". O/D is still near 1/2" so it plenty strong
