Westach Duel Gage mount to SRT-10 mount

Oo. Need some help installing gage into SRT-10 mount. Unable to install gage holder(Black Plastic U-Clamp) do to not enough room around gage and mount with gage in vertical position, anybody have any tricks? I am thinking about using expozy to secure it but do not know if it will stick to the plastic on the SRT-10.

I just let mine set in the hole. It stays put so far, put some spots of putty or silicone around it if you need it.

I used a very thick rubber band, and it works GREAT!!

I wrapped mine with some electrical tape and it hasn't moved yet.

I would think that an "O" ring on the back side would work.

i did that with my autometer boost gauge... works real well and is cheap/easy

ButchJ, I just kinda put the black thing in there sideways, and then forced/twisted it until I could get the nuts on the little threads. In any case, I forced it in there and it's solid now, lol.

I used the gauge holder supplied. I took a pair of sharp diagonal wire cutters, fingernail clippers will work also, and cut the inside rib from one leg of the holder. I also clipped around 1/16" off the ends because the holder seemed too long. When you have it all installed you can still grab the gauge and twist it to a better position.
