Used the hose from Geno's and mounted it in the dash cubby-hole. Got the lexan mounting plate from Geno's too. They through it in for free when I ordered the gage and hose kit.
Mounted the sending unit on the drivers side fire wall just above the through firewall wire passage way. There is a grounding chassis grounding screw about 3 inches to the right of where I mounted the sending unit that I used for the ground connection.
If you got the gage light, I simply put the end of one of the light wires on the ground pin on the gage, and ran the other lead to the in cab fuse panel and used one of the mini add a fuse circuit adapters to the fuse marked illumination (#5 in mine).
Ran the hot wire for the gage to the same fuse panel and did the same style connector and plugged it into the empty fuse spot marked "spare".
All in all it took me a little less then 2 hours and an extra trip to the part store to get the little fuse adapter plug-ins.
Oh - by the way, if you get the hose kit from Geno's that plugs into the VP-44, when you bleed the air out of the line you have to turn the key and just bump the starter to activate the LP. I didn't know that and it cost me a panic call to the dealership as I thought my new LP wasn't working - bad scare!!
