we are putting in my gauge tonight and Ilost the wire diagrham for hooking up the three wires,I have red, green, black and the back of the gauge is marked pin#2 pin#4and pin#5 Thank's Don Barr

Just did mine today, and the diagram is here in front of me - Pin #2 goes to one side of the sending unit. Pin #4 goes to swithced power (tied mine into the in-cab fuse panel) and, pin #5 goes to the other terminal of the sending unit then to ground.

Thank's for the quick answer, I gave up for tonight and will start again in the morning, where did you mount your gauge, how long did it take from start to finish, did you use the hose from geno's Thank's Don Barr

Used the hose from Geno's and mounted it in the dash cubby-hole. Got the lexan mounting plate from Geno's too. They through it in for free when I ordered the gage and hose kit.

Mounted the sending unit on the drivers side fire wall just above the through firewall wire passage way. There is a grounding chassis grounding screw about 3 inches to the right of where I mounted the sending unit that I used for the ground connection.

If you got the gage light, I simply put the end of one of the light wires on the ground pin on the gage, and ran the other lead to the in cab fuse panel and used one of the mini add a fuse circuit adapters to the fuse marked illumination (#5 in mine).

Ran the hot wire for the gage to the same fuse panel and did the same style connector and plugged it into the empty fuse spot marked "spare".

All in all it took me a little less then 2 hours and an extra trip to the part store to get the little fuse adapter plug-ins.

Oh - by the way, if you get the hose kit from Geno's that plugs into the VP-44, when you bleed the air out of the line you have to turn the key and just bump the starter to activate the LP. I didn't know that and it cost me a panic call to the dealership as I thought my new LP wasn't working - bad scare!!

mmcfall,I to used the hose from Geno's and mounted the sending unit to the drivers side battery tray there was a hole to use there and ran a ground wire to the sender. I have a new factory LP and am getting 13lbs @idel and 7lbs@wot what kind of numbers are you getting? Just finished at 5pm and had a small(seep)leak at the sender and put a half turn on the hose and will check it tomorrow,Don
