Westach Fuel Pressure Gauge

I have a westach fuel pressure gauge in my truck and am having a problem with the reading on it. I think I wired it wrong, but I am not certain. If I have the truck on and the lights off the pressure is 10-12psi. If I turn the lights to the truck on the pressure goes top 14-16psi. I have wired the power and the lights the exact way I have for all my other gauges(3 isspro and 2 autometer) but this is the only one that does this. Has anybody else had this happen, or any thoughts on how I could have wired it incorrectly. Thanks in advance.

Exactly.



Sounds like a classic grounding problem. When you turn the lights on you're somehow decreasing the resistance of the ground path for the gauge system.
