Looking for some feedback and maybe a pic or 2 of exactly how you overcame the warning that these gauges (Westach) won't fit in the steering column mount.

I currently have my combo in the cubby and it's ok but I'm going to order a FP guage and would like to maybe move the combo over to the column and put the FP in the cubby.

Thanks in advance ;)

I have the Westach EGT/Boost combo & fuel pressure gauges mounted in the 2-hole A-pillar pod. Despite other comments, this is really in a convenient spot and takes very little getting used to. I had ordered the steering column pod for the same purpose you have in mind. Geno's CALLED ME (they had just discovered the problem with the Westach gauges and the steering column pod) and advised against that setup.

I consider this GREAT customer service since it prevented a potential problem for both Geno's & myself. Geno's now has the conflict listed with the steering column pod in their catalog.

Just MHO FWIW.

Mine has been installed for almost 10 months. 2 things. On the front of the gage is a sharp lip. Smooth this down as much as possible, almost to the glass. This is what cuts the back of the bottom of the steering wheel. The top will clear it unmodified.

Then, when mounting press the mount all the way down and fasten the left, window, side in place with the pin that comes with it. Check for any interference or rubbing. If none, fasten the right side in place. I had to raise the right side on mine about 1/4". works

OK now.

anybody got pics of the 2 hole autometer?

too bad BD doesn't make a steering wheel mount for their x-stream set-up.
