Hey all, Happy Holidays to ya,



Got a quick question, I got my gauges for Christmas, and I'm tryin to figure out where to get power for fuel pressure gauge. I was curious as to where ya'll tapped into for power. Do I need to go hot all the time, or ignition hot, or just something else? It is a Westach 0-30 Fuel Pressure. I am goin on a trip to Louisiana here shortly and wanted the gauges in before then, if ya'll have any advice, I'd appreciate it, and Thanks in Advance, God Bless, James

There are probably as many sources as there are people who have installed gauges. If you wish, you can tap into the fuse box on the end of the dash on the driver's side. Fuse #5 will give you instrument lighting that dims with the dash lights. Fuse #8 will give you switched power (+12VDC) for the gauge. You can either use mini-taps with spade connectors or tap into the output wires coming off these fuses.

Thanks Alot for the reply, I posted this topic in a couple of other areas, and got about the same answer that you told me, I really appreciate it, and I tapped for power off of the #8 fuse, using an add-a-circut. It works great, just got back from testing them Happy New Year, James
