Been meaning to post this for a while and have not performed search (just lazy) if topic was already coverd however; I was running a wire from fuse area to behind the seat for rechargable flashlight. Upon pulling up the drivers side mat I discovered the whole area to be wet. After telling some other 12 valve friends they check theirs and discovered the same terrible wetness. 1 guy had carpet and it was saturated. If this does not dry up I can't see how the truck could last. Hope you all check yours.

I guess I will pull the seats and carpet to try and seal it somehow??

sounds like a leaking 3rd brake light.

i use a streamlight and don't run any wires. i have my charger in the genos seat pouch behind my seat. :)

Do a search on "leaking third brake light". You should find out how to fix the leak.

'Usually' the water makes it's way toward the right side of cab.

Doing the repair isn't to hard. It's removing the seats, carpets, etc that is a real PITA.

My floor would always be wet too, I pulled the carpet up and the floor beneath both driver side and passenger sides were cracked, pretty big long ones too, don't know how it happened. Can't afford to fix it now so I just sealed it for the time being.
