My truck at 8800 ft is a pig off the line unless you manually down shift or smoke like a train, I see what you guys are talking about with higher altitudes. Smoke:--) man I can cover the road up at half throttle in 3rd at slow speeds, I pi$$ed some tailgaters off in Denver:{ nice trip so far, I'm in the Tetons right now!

If you are in the Tetons from Rawlins you must have drove right past Jardine's about 20 miles west of Dubois.

Enjoy making smoke and enjoy those mountains.

Sounds like a great trip. I'm envious, we haven't been in the Teton/Yellowstone area in 9 years, would love to be in that part of the world instead of here with 80% humidity and temps in the 90s.

If you've got the time, a trip up to Montana and Glacier National Park is highly recommended.

Enjoy the trip, be safe and Good Luck,

Ronnie

PS, watch those EGTs while showing those other guys your tailgate :D .

J Fulmer. . If you are in the Yellowstone Tetons area with you rig, what is the availabity of camping spots up there. We are heading up there from Phoenix next week and we understand all spaces are on a first come first serve basis.

Any suggestions.

I have the same smoke problem you do at altitude so if you figure out what is doing it let me know.

R little, I stayed in the Tetons at Colter Bay, do a search on www.askjeeves.com or a search engine. I'm not sure what you are wanting? A cabin, RV spot or a tent cabin but you can call them (800)628-9988 for info or reservations. The spot is absolutely bad ass, the Tetons make west Yellowstone look like west Texas. E-mail me if you ned anymore info as I'm in Portland now.
