I can give you some info on this engine, but in the marine version. One of the guys in my marina had one in a boat about 5-6 years ago. Ran ok, not anywhere near as torquey as other diesels, but adequate. It was turboed and rated at 200 hp.

He sold the boat because he had trouble finding parts for the engine.

But that was the marine version..... perhaps there are still truck parts around. I would do some snoopin' around before I bought it.

Its kind of a goof, I thought it was a misprint untill I read fine print, I guess you learn something new everyday. I still remember pulling up to the diesel pump in my nissan pickup, sure got some strange stares.
