Any Appliance Repairman here - very small issue with a

Hot Sauce

In order to have a functional firearm, you must be able to feed it.

I see ammunition restrictions coming before complete firearms restrictions.

Currently, any and all muzzleloading firearms are exempt from any registration and licensing requirements... . apparently a . 54 Hawken is not as lethal as a Mini-14.

In some districts, individuals under the age of 21 cannot purchase . 22LR ammo, yet anyone can log in to Cabelas.com and order up a collection of black powder rifles, pistols, and the assorted tools needed to keep them running... . I guess they aren't deadly to people, right?

... ... it's kinda like when the black gun parts were getting banned... . because everybody knows non U. S. parts are much more deadly than the parts built here, right?

Gun laws are retarded and written by people who couldn't hit the white part of snow at point blank range... ... .

This is the issue that scares the crap out of me and should scare ALL gun owners, whether cowboy shooters with black powder cartridge guns or long range shooters with . 30 and . 50 caliber tack drivers. That the gov't can even think about making a requirement to have a permit or license to partake in a right granted by the Constitution makes me sick. I found an older American Rifleman in my house with a picture on the cover of a big grapple machine picking up a pile of firearms in Australia. Made me so mad that it could happen here. Those who think it can't are ostriches.

I read this in the Declaration of Independence:

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

It also says:

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes.

One persons threshold of "abuses and usurpations" and "light and transient causes" is different from another's.

IMHO, a majority of people in our country are generally happy with the way things are or don't pay much attention to the fact that a U. S. citizen's freedoms are becoming less and less. Republican or Democrat, makes no matter. Bona fide, fundamental change doesn't get much traction these days. Thankfully, the majority still seems to rule. The majority put 44 in office. The right time to take action is now says I with letters to representatives, voting, and trying to show what once was is now no longer. Do this with tact.

Organizing only with like minded people, forming militias or what have you only ostracizes those that don't hold one's point of view. The object of the game is to CHANGE their point of view. How? Beats me... . But when I think of the people that died, the parents that lost children, all so I can have the freedom to write a letter to my rep *****ing about where the hell is 700 Billion going to come from in the first place..... How can I not stop trying? Brute force, in your face opposition against a majority that knows no better will get you killed or put in the clink for no good reason at the worst. Me thinks there are enough of "us" to shed light, effect change, point to freedom, not overthrow. Sadly these efforts are in competition with the price of a gallon of gas or who's winning on american idol.
