Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I picked up my new 03 the end of May last year. I just turned 32,000 on the odometer and realized I've only got a short time left on the warranty and perhaps should take it in to a dealer. Thing is, I can't think of any reason to do so.
When she was new I had the vibration around 65-75 but that went away after a few thousand miles. It used to pull to the right but new tires cured that. The heater still blows on the floor when I tell it to. I'd love to con them out of a new clutch but have never been able to get mine to rattle. The cruise control has never surged, the windows don't leak. The paint is practically non-existent, the metal is paper thin, and the seats are hard on my butt, however these are obviously not warranty issues.
The only reasons I can think of to take it to a dealer are the missing rocker plugs and the fact that I'm slowly loosing coolant (probably the block heater being loose). These two relatively minor issues don't seem to warrant the inconvenience of dealing with scheduling, figuring out how to get to and from work without a vehicle, risking getting ripped off or having my truck damaged, etc.
But for some reason I keep thinking I've overlooked something. I don't want to miss this rapidly closing window of opportunity. What am I missing?
