There is an outfit out there that does RV conversions for people with any chassis. You can take them a 79-03 Pete with a Signature 600 Cummins and have them make you one heck of an RV. I will try to find the site, had it on my old computer, still trying to move files over on this one.

I have read some of those sites on making motorhomes out of full sized over the road truck tractors. They get good fuel mileage too. My friend has a 2000 KW two axel and he runs a 500hp Detroit 60 series. Fully loaded(80,000lbs)he gets 7. 5 mpg. Empty, towing two empty trailers, he gets 12. 5 mpg.
