I should be getting my order from Geno's and will put the radiator back in and get everything back together.
The owners manual calls for Mopar or equivalent ethylene glycol based with organic inhibitors.
I bought Preston at Walmart.
It says it's guaranteed for all vehicles and will not void the warranty. Also has Cor-Guard inhibitors.
What do you think, is this good to use in my 02?

It should be fine but you will have to do a thorough flush. When I replaced my radiator I went with Peak Global Lifetime, it's a silicate free non 2eh formula. Traditional ethylene glycol relies on silicates to form a protective barrier over the internals of your cooling system. While it does a good job at that it has a very short lifespan which is why traditional green coolant should be changed every 2 years. The 2eh formula was the early alternative to a silicate formula but was found to be detrimental to certain components and gaskets (think early Dexcool and all the issues they had).

It should be noted I don't have full confidence in their "lifetime guarantee", my plan is to monitor PH and change after 4-5 years. That would be the equivalent of about 100k miles for me. Peaks acceptable PH limits are 7.5-10.

I switched to zerex g05. It is a hoat formula and is used in the 3rd gens and recommended for 2nd gen trucks. I believe it is rated for five years.

The regular old green stuff is perfectly fine. You just have to change it a little more often. But thats a good thing to do anyways. :)

Cummins recommended a low silicate ethylene glycol back when I had my 2002. The antifreeze they sold me at Cummins Southern Plains was Pyroil (by Valvoline) Heavy Duty Antifreeze/Coolant (Low Silicate Formula).
