Started just a couple days ago. Very erratic every once in a great while between about 45 and 55 I get the torque converter lock/un-lock problem. Seems to do it twice, then decides to stay in lockup. Then Monday afternoon, temp well over 90 DegF, truck starts slowing down from about 60, I push the pedal for more, dead, nothing until I get it to downshift, then after hesitating it adds fuel and takes off. No CEL on, I checked codes with the Superships programmer (it came with the truck, I have never had it reprogram the truck, my transmission is only 10K old, still under warranty) all I had is a P1693 (fault in a companion module). No other DTCs. When I got the truck in January there was a laundry list done to it. transmission replaced with re-man, LP replaced with in-tank (old one wasn't bad, just growling, figgered while it's getting the transmission done might as well replace), exhaust manifold, few other small things.
Don't have a FP gauge, I'm a little scared what it may show. Because of the 2 dif. symptoms I'm hoping its the Bell-crank (throttle position). Guess I'll start saving for a VP just in case. Any other ideas?
