What are the symptoms of injector problems?

For those who have had injectors replaced (especially on the 325/600 motors) what were the symptoms you were having?



Poor Power?

Poor Mileage?

Rattling or Pinging?

All of the above?

The only symptom I've experience just exactly like a fouled plug or mis-fire in a gasser... .

Haven't had any problems myself, but you could see the oil level rise on the dip stick with certain injector faults.

I put a bad BD injector set in my 1st gen and it acted just like Guava described. It was worse with the trailer hooked up. In fact, it killed my transmission

last night when i got off the interstate and stop, my truck was idling very rough and was clacking real loud. drove about 1/4mi to next light and it was still doing it. drove about three miles more and when i stopped,, it was normal agian? it did this once before a coulpe months ago, it had a "bad plug" feel to it. i didnt check for a code but doubt it threw one, will check this a. m.

Im waiting on a injector #6 and i have white smoke and rough idle at start up, poor power and poor mpg, seems like that would be attributed to more that just one injector that sticks but i will see if the thing ever gets here. Adam
