What are the two ports on top of oil filter mount

On my 06 there are two (look like 1/8 npt) ports/plugs on the top of the oil filter mount. What are they? Are they both pressure out or one in and one out, ect. ?



I was asking because it looked like a good port for a oil pressure gauge of a small by pass filter system.

Both are pressure in the same direction (supply).
