What, BHAF?

Hey guys,

The BHAF is a air filter right? Ok, do I need it and if so is it a direct bolt in,does it replace my stock air box. What things do I need to know before I put one in? I have a K&N now,I know I have to get rid of it!

Rob yes it replaces your stock box and K&N:--) I just installed mine a couple day's ago so no news on performance yet. Fleetguard # 19037 @ 40$ from Cummins Dlr.

ramthis, no, the sock is a "redneck" addition. it is 6" orthopaedic stockinette, from my office. a company in MI, i think, called outergears or something similar make a precleaner foam cover for the BHAF. the sock on mine has been on for about 6K miles now, and is just starting to get dirty. i'll prolly change it this w/e.

hey, this should be post 1K. 998 posts of drivel and nonsense, and wise cracks, and 2 posts with some info for folks, and i got flamed for those two.

How does it flow compared to a K+N? It seems that with that kind of surface area it should flow really well. What about filtration? How does it compare to the stocker? Anybody know?
