I was wondering what brand of 255x85x16 are yall running on your duallies, ive got dunlap mud rovers and with under 10000 miles i think i will only get about 20000miles out of them. Thanks Jason
I run the Coopers. Three trucks, three set of Coopers On my 3500 so far I got 55K. Should go to 80-90K by the wear I see now. I also rotate every 6/8 K miles.
anyone have experience with the Nitto Tires... I saw an ad on the last page of this months Four Wheeler mag and I like the trad pattern, you can see the tire if you go to Nitto Tire "Terra Grappler"
It looks like they are sold at Discount Tire locations and are made for bigger trucks, they come in D and E ratings only. But I would want to hear experiences before I considered them as an alternative, plus I don't know how much money they are asking for these either.
The NITTO tires look to be pretty descent. Their tread pattern looks like it might do well in packed snow. The ratings look pretty good as far as traction and treadwear.
I used Nittos on my race car in the 70's. they worked well in that application. I had Coopers on my Buick and they finally blew out after 70,000 miles due to dry rot. I just bought Uniroyals because the price was right and they are owned by Michellin.
Michelins are the best always have been always will be. I run Michelin LTX AT on my truck have 40,000 on them should get 80,000 out of them they are wearing like iron. Also, you can't beat the way a Michelin rides.
I just got my 325/60R18 Nitto Terra Grapplers a couple days ago. You can see pictures of them on my web site. So far I love them. Will be interesting to see how they perform and wear.
