I have seen your leaf springs so I know that's not your truck, and it is way to clean to be Andy's truck. I know you guyz ge a lot of snow up there and he hasn't been out of commission for that long. Other than that I think its a Chebby. So, whose is it?

Thats Sled Racers springs. I finally got the puller out of the garage, for a test smoke, and had a chance to get the tires changed, and a bad transmission line fixed, on the 91.

I get disgusted underneath that thing.

Up in the hillbilly area of California, also known as Yreka, that liquid salt replacement they spray on the roads every night eats stuff up like that. I'm so happy to be back down in the Los Angeles area where my exhaust pipes can last more than 12 months.



I think I'll go back outside and finish building my ark... its STILL raining.

I just happen to know where a very nice 82 Club Cab Gasser Pig is sitting with a sweet body on it for sale and would make a nice home for "Sled Racers" motor and power train. However,I also know the guy won't donate it to you so It may be out of your price range..... LOL... ... Andy

I live in Salt Lake City and yes we do use Salt here... Here is my truck after 5 yrs... . alot of care has gone into it but not hard to do...

here is my truck last year at May madness..... I won best 2nd gen award... . I have won 4 awards in 7 shows... . I am pretty proud that I am able to get awards and I live where it snows and we use salt and everything. I do a thourough cleaning and buffing of the paint twice a year and I keep the frame parts and axles painted. Even the driveshaft!!



i don't have the shell anymore, I have a wind-deflector and soft toneau cover now... .

Salt Lake just had 1" in the valley yesterday... . over 20" in the mountains...



Even when it is not very cold here, they spray a solution that is part salt on the roads 'cause most people around here, even though it rains and snows here alot, they never learn to drive cautiously. .

Yep that looks like my 78 Power Wagon!! Looks like the overload spring stops are gone or rusted off , and straightened out :-laf .
