If I upgrade my auto trans what can I do that wont detonate the trans? I figure torque converter but anything else?? And if i do my torque converter, will the rest of the trans eventually hit the ****ter?? Thanks, just tryinfg to get more power out of my torque plate!!

Put a shift kit in before you do anything but if the transmission has a lot of miles rebuild it with a hi-proformance kit from vendors like TST. Depending on the HP then go to torque converter.

1996-350 tst #5 plate, K&N air filter,Primeloc fuel filter kit,4" exhaust,Purodyne bypass oil fiter system, bigger injectors,b&m trans pan,Amsoil all around,temp gauges out the wazzo,much trans work,double tow 33' 5th wheel and 12' trailer w/motorcycle(Honda Valkyarie Interstate)Also have 1999-250-stock.
Installing Transfer-Flow 98 gal. bed tank, governor spring kit(BD), and Bill Kodalay's TC on 96 dualie.

You can contact Bill Kondolay at DTT or Piers at BD Power. Both provide excellent service and a good product and the knowledge to take you where you want to go. Being in PA, you're close enough to Auto Wurks Diesel to even come in and see what he can do for you.

How do like those 305s Seems like me and you are the only ones with theses tires

Rush out first and buy a 5 or 6 speed and a clutch pedal.
I have a brother -in law that i told him the same thing. In his case that was 2 auto's supplied and installed by d/c Three BDs re man transmission-shift kits -torque convt-one Under warranty, sensors,Cooler witn fans - temp gauges, larger lines (NOT in any Order)
His buddy (money no object) same and more then 6 mo ago he got a fd.
You can tell if the auto could handle it d/c would'nt sell it de- rated compaired to
a manual.
Rule of thumb has been for 5 years you want a auto & (Not de- rated)that will last longer buy fd.
Want a stick get a Dodge.
Hard truth but so is life!
Another note if you buy any auto ,tow or push, first thing install a aux cooler and temp gauge. Best on the market mounts under the bed has two cooling fans with it's own sensor's .
