I am looking for opinions on what I should put my truck up for sale for. I did a private party sale on Kelly Blue Book with 104876 miles. It came back as 18895. This doesn't take into account the fact my 315's only have 200 miles on them, DTT Transmission, RASP, AFE, Banks, Exhaust Brake, Upgraded Suspension or upgraded centerline wheels. There is more listed in my sig. I need an honest opinions as I need to put this up for sale. Thank you to anyone that weighs in.

JDR

you never get much from upgrades put on your truck. I find if you take the value of the upgrades you put in and cut that in half, add that to the low KBB value, and you are in the ballpark of what you can get. You will get nothing for any labor costs.

If you have the time and willingness to do it, it is usually best to take all the upgrades off and sell them on their own. Then sell your truck as stock.

If you don't want to part out the upgrades, come up with your price and be willing to wait it out. If your truck is truly a gem, someone will probably come along who recognizes it and will be willing to pay a premium.

When upgrading to my 01 Ram, I sold an 88 F250 Diesel. I payed $5000 for it, then put about $4000 into upgrades (turbo, head job, etc and etc... ) I sold it for $7000 and that took a while.

What he said!

What analog said is what I've found also. The bank won't finance any more than whatever value service they use... they don't care about upgrades. Unless you find a cash buyer that's crazy about these trucks like we are you'll have it for sale for a while. Having said that you might sell it tomorrow!
