what controls the dash gauges?

Anybody care to take a shot at this? I know that on the 24v the ECM talks to the PCM, and the PCM is what controls it. So what controls the dash on the 12v? There is no PCM is there?



Just wondering.

The PCM on a 12 valve dosn't control the engine like a 24 but the PCM does control most of the gauges, cruise control, grid heaters and automatic transmission. Yes there is a PCM on 12 valves.
