what cooler for the gertrac transmission

Am looking for a cooler for the gertrac transmission. Fast coolers only bolt onto the nv series from what I understand... . thanks for your help. Big Loop

They were no GETRAGS used in 06s if that he truck your asking about. In 06 a G56 trans built by a Damiler company was used.

Contact Fast Coolers directly, they have a website. I got a pair of coolers for my G56 from them, they offer a kit for our trannys, you just have to go through them.



Tell them in your contact e-mail 2006, G56 and they will give you a price.

I would not even consider additional coolers on a trans that was already aluminum... the NV-series need the fast coolers because the cast iron housing traps the heat.



I'd monitor trans temps before assuming you need coolers on the G56.
