I just installed a upgrade VB and now the transmission will not shift up. The X-Monitor is showing 412 F and the check engine light came on. It is a 48r, 2004, 4x4 Quadcab with the short box. I am runing a VanAAken C-3. 1 , AFE stage 1 , 4 Inch exhast with the X-Monitor, I have checked the tv cable and it seems ok, the ltransmissiion goes into all the gears and reverse works ? What need I do wrong ? any ideas ?

I had the same thing when we installed a new vb ck the connectons and the little pins in the trans one my be bent and not connecting it drove us crazy till we found it good luck Oo.

Have checked the codes :

P 1757

P0868

P0713

P2269

P0973

P2769

I also discontected the Battiers for ten minutes, I ALSO : Had the Key on when I did the change over, was listening to the XM , didnot think that it may have a effect on the work I was doing. Its so cold that I will have to wait to redo the install to check my work tilll tomorrow afternoon.

I would take it back apart, most of those codes are transmission related. Either the plug that goes thru the case isn't seated correctly, as stated above, or sometimes it can be forced to plug it in 180* off.

Took It apart and the 8 pin connector had come apart. New Question ?

How or can I get rid of the codes ? I disconnected the batteries for ten minutes. The check engine light is on and it still is not shifting corectly.
