What Did You Cut When You Discovered Scissors?

Back in the days when you were eating paste and looking up girls skirts while they climbed the monkey bars, did you cut up stuff that got you into trouble, after discovering scissors?

first thing that i can remember cutting with scissors was my hand. i was sharpening a pencle in kindergarden with the teachers scissors. i used the blade of the scissor like a knife and slipped. . slit my palm open. i only remember this for one reason. on that same day, thanks to me slitting my palm, i was introduced to rubbing alcohol by the school nurse. .



... i also remember my first experience with electricity. i was real young [before kindergarden] and i had nothing better to do [young kids get bored in ±3seconds] than to chew on a cord. this cord was the cord for the vacuum. this cord was also plugged in. . i was biting down on the cord, and the cord bit back:{ :{ :{ . . hmm. . these memories are most likely the probable cause of many of my problems. . . lol

My first project was to turn my sister's Barbies into skinheads before I moved on to cats.

Forgot to mention that my first experience with the benefits of glue was in keeping the cat still for his trim. Wish it would have worked on my sister after she discovered her Barbies.

He's ten years younger. BTW we are now the best of buds since we're so damned old, but... ... ... ...



When I was thirteen and he was three, he discovered scissors. I was asleep and he carefully poked under the skin on the back of my right hand and proceeded to start a cut across the back of my hand. I awoke. It wasn't that bad.



I have this half-inch scar we laugh about to this day.

I had contemplated a carrer as a mohel, but me not being of Hebrew decent made that difficult to say the least.

My first scissor cutting experience was cutting a lamp cord... ZAP! Now, on those ijector razor blades I was "cycling" the thing empty when a blade cut clean through that meat between the thumb and index finger... lots of blood!

I can remember climbing behind the TV stand one night and cutting through the power cord with some nail clippers i found :--)



imagine it, just like in the cartoons... ... . BIG BOOM, followed by a bright flash and the lights go out



it just about blew the toes out of my favorite jammies plus my dad was ticked, i smoked the TV

I wonder if I should become an Amish mohel. What a trendsetter I'd be. Of course, I'd have to give up my Ram. Nah!

Scissors and 4 yr old

Many moons ago I discovered scissors. I decided to cut my hair. That was my last haircut.

I gave my sister a hair cut. I also spilled red shoe polish in the bathroom at the sametime. It sure was a good thing that the baby sitter had a strong heart. It scared the be-jesus out of her.
